Know your body weight:
Find your height in cm.
Deduct 100.
Find 90% of this figure.
You can have this much KG weight.
For example if your height is 170 cm.
170 - 100 = 70
90% of 70 = 70X90 divided by 100 = 63
So for a person who is 170 cm tall can have a weight of 63 KG maximum.
If you do not have pot belly you can have 10 to 15 % more of 63 KG which is safe. That is maximum 70 or 75.
Know your body fat.
Stand before the mirror after removing the clothes or let some one else do this for you.
(a) Measure the tummy - just below the tummy button. It must be done where the tummy is having the highest measurement. This is waist measure. (Keep the tape tight but not too tight)
(b) Find the measure of your buttocks also in the same way.
Divide the measure 'a' by the measure 'b' = this is waist-hip ratio.
